Why Shutters
When a shutter is the right answer.
We don't recommend shutters for every room. Here's where they win:
- Front-of-house windows. Shutters telegraph “well-built home” from the curb in a way no other treatment does.
- Bathrooms. Privacy plus light, easy to wipe down, no fabric to absorb moisture.
- Specialty shapes. Arched, octagonal, or eyebrow windows are usually only solvable with custom shutters or drapery.
- Window seats and transoms. Café-height shutters give privacy below while leaving the upper transom open to light.
