These are separate skills from swapping a cord, and they are the reason people call us about treatments we never sold.
Shutter repair
Loose louvers, sagging panels, split tilt rods, worn hinges, and doors that no longer close square. Hardwood and poly-satin, Hunter Douglas or otherwise.
Alterations & resizing
Moved house, replaced a window, or inherited treatments that are close but not right? We shorten, narrow, and re-hem blinds, shades, and drapery to fit the opening you actually have.
Take-down & rehang
Painting, refinishing floors, or having windows replaced? We remove every treatment, label it to its opening, store it safely, and rehang it level when the work is done.
Motorization service
Battery wands, hardwired motors, dead remotes, and shades that have lost their PowerView scenes. We reprogram and re-commission as well as repair.
Having your treatments down for a repair or a move is also the right moment to have them ultrasonically cleaned. It costs far less to do both at once.
Honest Advice
What we don't
We rarely take on cheap big-box blinds. The cord-lock parts are not standardized and the cost-to-repair often exceeds replacement with something better. We will tell you that on the phone, and recommend the right path.
